Dr. Blevins was born and raised in Ashe County and graduated from Ashe Central High School. Dr. Blevins went on to attend North Carolina State University where he received a bachelors degree in animal science. Dr. Blevins went on to further his study to obtain his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2007.
Dr. Hampton graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She worked at Twin Oaks Veterinary Hospital from 1998-2000. Dr. Hampton became an associate at The Animal Hospital of Wilkes in 2000 and worked there until she transferred to The Animal Hospital of Ashe in 2008. She feels very blessed and is thankful to her loving husband and 3 wonderful boys. Although she was raised in Wilkes County, she feels privileged to live in the mountains of Alleghany and work in the mountains of Ashe! |Amber has been with the Animal Hospital of Ashe since April of 2013, after completing over 1 year of online college courses with Penn Foster Career School. She is very proud to work with the caring staff and veterinarians in a family-like atmosphere. She has always enjoyed being around animals and is happy to be in a position where she can help them and their owners. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, cooking and spending time with her husband Alex and also her family and friends. She has 2 cats, Simba and Sarabi, and one dog named Finn.|
|Katherine has been with AHA since 2012. She enjoys serving others and tries to greet clients with a smile. She loves all animals and will treat your pet as if it were her own, making sure to give it lots of love and attention. Katherine is currently seeking a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology at San Juan College and plans to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys spending time with family and friends and is actively involved in her church. She also loves to knit. Katherine has 4 pets: 2 dogs (Audrey & Bella), 1 cat (Oliver) and 1 rabbit (Romeo).|
